Background and profile
Windows Vista: The Official Magazine was launched in January 2007 to coincide with the launch of Windows Vista operating system. From June 2009, the magazine renamed to Windows: The Official Magazine, to capitalise on the upcoming launch of Windows 7 and to offer more to readers still using Windows XP. In addition, the magazine now covers Windows Live and Windows Mobile specifically. The magazine builds on the huge numbers of people using Windows in all its forms to inspire readers to get more from their lives using technology.
